Raising Children With Special Needs In A Sometimes Bigoted Society

Parenting is hard for everyone. Now add to that a disabled child and the stress level increases. Now just suppose you are a member of a minority group and your child or children have disabilities. You are on an island trying to find a bridge to another island and then to the mainland.  Fortunately, in our new millenium, more and more groups are learning how to welcome persons with disabilities.  In another post, I will go into more detail about this subject.
