Down Syndrome A Journey Begins

Before I gave birth to Thomas, I viewed persons with developmental disabilities as lovable or tolerable burdens to society. Now I know their mission is profoundly important.  They are messengers of love and hope.  They are here to enlighten us.  Parents of children with Down Syndrome usually seem to be aware of this mission of spirit.  I will write more about this another time.
